Liz Danzico approached us on behalf of the team at Automattic about conceiving possible design directions for the at-the-time upcoming 2.7 version of WordPress. We worked with Jane Wells and the team at Automattic to put together a few different iterations of what WP 2.7 might look like based on the provided wireframes.
While this last iteration didn’t make it into WordPress, we hope it shaped the final product, which was designed internally before its release and is mostly the WordPress you know today.
